Meet The Staff
Management

My name is Rusty Citron. I am the oldest grandchild of Brown Fortier (Founder of Hub City Ford in 1943). My family has been in the Ford Automotive business for over 100 years. As a young boy, I can remember riding with my grandfather to the dealership to see the new Edsel and experienced his interactions with all of the employees. Becoming a teenager, I worked summers washing cars, working in the parts department and shuttling cars around. Upon graduating from Cathedral High School in 1963, I joined the Naval Air Reserve while attending USL. After graduating with a BA in Economics, I decided I had washed enough Fords and accepted an offer of employment with the U.S. Treasury Department Comptroller of the Currency as a Federal Bank Examiner. In 1972 after 4 years with the Feds, I was asked by my father Elroy Citron and grandfather to join the family business and establish and manage a finance and insurance department. I was then promoted to Business Manager and then General Manager when the dealership moved to its present location in 1979. In 1995 I was appointed President & CEO of Hub City Ford succeeding my Father who passed away. I have held that position for over 29 years. My greatest accomplishment with Hub City Ford was meeting a young lady named Sarah Domingue who purchased a new Pinto my first year with the company. We have been married for 51 years and have 2 sons, Brooks and Grant and two grandsons, Cooper and Christopher. What I look forward to the most is arriving at the dealership by 5:30 am every morning. Horse racing, hunting, fishing and gardening continue to be my life long hobbies.

My name is Richard J Fortier Jr. and I was born here in Lafayette, LA. I grew up on St. Mary Boulevard, and move to Youngsville where my family raised black Angus cattle. Naturally, I was a member of 4-H and have been an avid gardener ever since. I have had a very adventurous life from the start, having gone to at least 10 different schools. The day after graduating from Ovey Comeaux High School, I joined the Navy Air Reserves and went to Memphis to train as an Aviation Sonar Electronic Technician. After completing my training, I studied for one semester at USL, where I briefly studied many topics, including my lifelong passion, Geology. I continued my education at the Elkins Institute of Electronics in New Orleans, Louisiana and became a 1st Class FCC Engineer and worked for TV15. After leaving TV15, I backpacked around the country for a bit and eventually landed back in Lafayette where I came to work here at Hub City Ford. My Grandfather, Brown Fortier, founded this company in 1943. I started as a mechanic and later set up the inventory system for the parts department at the Truck Center. I worked my way to Parts Department Manager, then eventually General Manager, and finally, Co-Dealer/part-owner. I have a plethora of interests and roles outside of work. I married my loving wife Candice Moreland when 23 years old and we have since been married for 50 years. We have a beautiful daughter, Ashland Lanore Fortier, who has blessed us with two adored grandsons. I have been one of Jehovah's Witnesses since I was 19. During which time, I have served as an elder and given many public talks. I have traveled the country on a Harley and explored many other interests throughout my lifetime, from photography to gardening. I am blessed to have a home at Hub City Ford, where we have employee retention like no other, offering everyone the opportunity to have a second family.

Â
My grandfather, Brown Fortier, worked for the Ford Motor Company in New Orleans in 1918. He acquired Hub City Ford in 1943 and the dealership has remained in the family for 80 years now. We know nothing but Ford and we bleed "Ford Blue".  The dealership is our home and the employees here are our family. I grew up at the dealership downtown as I would walk there after school from Cathedral Carmel. I am so proud of the store and its success. As a cradle Catholic, my mother, Marcelle Fortier Citron, laid a foundation of "service above self". She founded FoodNet, Faith House, & The Monsignor Sigur Center which is now Catholic Charities to name just a few. I now am the host of "Cajun Catholics", a local radio show and podcast that features the people and faith of residents in Acadiana. I have been dating & married to my high school sweetheart for 41 years. We have 3 girls and 7 grandchildren.

I was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. I graduated from St Thomas More Highschool, Then I received a Bachelors degree from ULL in General studies. Then a Masters of Business Administration afterward. I started my career in the rental department in 2001 and worked my way up to become Finance Manager when Ronnie Gibbens retired. I am proud to be a fourth-generation actively working family member. I have two sons, Cooper and Christopher. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, hunting, fishing, and cooking.

Originally from Metairie, La and a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in 1997, I started working in sales at Hub City Ford in May 2002. Still undecided where and what I wanted to do as my long-term career, it did not take long for me to figure it out. The family atmosphere and the strong long- term work force allowed me to have a successful 12 years of selling. In 2013, I was able to transition to my current position as a finance manager. My wife, Lisha, and I have two children, Caroline and William. In my spare time I am usually following my son's various sports activities, watching the LSU Tigers, and enjoying a little fishing, hunting, and golf.

I came to work at Hub City Ford in 1994 after my father, who was employed here at the time and went on to work over 30 years at Hub City Ford, suggested that I apply for a service advisors position. I spent 4 years helping people in the service department before moving over to sales and spending another 4 years helping people with the purchase of their vehicles. Then I was promoted to the Finance and Insurance Manager, which I held that job for about 14 years and then moved over to the New Truck Sales Manager position.  I guess you can say I have been around the block and have I enjoyed every minute of it.I am born and raised right here in Lafayette where I attend Our Lady of Fatima, St. Thomas More and University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am married to Jodi Landry Gibbens and we have four children and 5 grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach, fishing and spending time with my family.I cannot remember when Hub City Ford was not a part of my life, it has always been there for me like family, and we are one big family here.

Hello Acadiana!!! My name is Danny Kober. I am the Pre-Owned Used Car Manager. I have been with Hub City Ford for 49 years. I have 2 sons, Todd and Kyle, who have gifted me with 7 grandchildren, Lauren, Haley, Emma, Ann Marie, Karlie, Avery & Kolton.    My story begins when I was 22 years old working as laborer in construction. I wanted to do something else that required me to meet people. I saw an ad in the paper from Hub City Ford for sales personal, so I came and applied. Mr. Rusty Citron interviewed me and called  me a few days later to inform me I was hired. I took the position as a salesman and that year was 1974 I had a new family. That's right, The Hub City Ford Family because that's what we are. The Citron's and the Fortier's took me under their wing and develop me into the professional sales person that I am today. After 4 years, I was promoted to Assistant Fleet Manager and held that position until 1986 when I became the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Never in my dreams did I know I would meet so many people. Customers became friends that I still have today. It is a pleasure and joy to come to my family business every day because this is not work it is what I enjoy. May God Bless The Citron's and The Fortier's for allowing me to be part of their family.

My name is Ray Lange. After college and military, I began my journey in the automotive industry. It's hard to believe, but that was over 30 years ago (1992). I came to Hub City Ford in January 2005. I knew of this place from my travels in this business, and when I got here I knew this is where I'd be as long as they'd have me. I worked in sales until I was given the opportunity to be Pre-owned Sales Manager in December 2017. I've been married to my lovely wife, Chandra, for 25 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Ainsley and Aubree, a son in law, Dan, and 2 dogs. I have lived in south Louisiana all my days and wouldn't reside any place else. When I'm not here, I'll be with the family enjoying whatever may come.

I started working at Hub City Ford in Dec 2019 as a Rental Assistant, I was promoted to Rental Manager in Feb 2020 after a 35 plus year career in the oil and gas industry. On a personal note I have been married to my lovely wife Melanie for 7 years, I have two step children Taylor and Julian Leon, 1 grand pup "JD". I am originally from Cecilia and currently reside in Breaux Bridge. I played softball for 25 plus years.

A Lafayette native, I grew up experiencing the local oilfield boom and bust firsthand. After a stint in Dallas, I returned home in 1988, drawn back to my roots. Soon after, a family friend introduced me to the automotive industry, where I've been ever since. Starting in sales and progressing through management roles, I'm now the Internet Manager at Hub City Ford. I'm fortunate to have a supportive wife, Renee, who understands the demands of this industry, and two sons, Dylan and Ian, who've grown up immersed in it. Family is the cornerstone of both my personal and professional life. Beyond work, I cherish time with my grandchildren, Elliot, Audrey, and Emersyn, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle Louisiana offers. I truly believe we are all blessed to be living and enjoying this part of the country because the roots run deep and the lineage is fascinating.

I HAVE BEEN AROUND HUB CITY FORD SINCE 1992 AND HAVE SEEN MUCH CHANGE OVER THE YEARS. THE ONE CONSTANT THAT HAS NEVER CHANGED IS MY LOYALTY TO MY CUSTOMERS, AND MY WILL TO PLEASE THEM.  "THERE IS NO PERFECT DEAL! AND WE DO NOT LIVE IN A PERFECT WORLD, AND I UNDERSTAND THAT BETTER THAN ANYONE. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE TRUST, THAT YOUR SALESMAN WILL BE THERE TO COACH YOU, LONG AFTER THE SALE, THEN THE AMOUNT YOU SPEND IS IRRELAVENT, TO HAVE THAT KIND OF PEACE OF MIND."  JON CITRON THANK YOU ACADIANA FOR HELPING ME ACHIEVE OVER 2000 VEHICLES SOLD.........................GOD BLESS J.C.

"Gone Fishin'"

Hi I'm Harold Fils. I've been with Hub City for 24 years and have loved every minute. I've only had 2 full time jobs in my life 25 years at Montgomery Ward (and for all you youngsters no it's not a mental ward) where I sold furniture, and my last 24 at Hub City Ford. I have 3 wonderful granddaughters, a son and a daughter. I was married to my beautiful wife of 45 years until God called her home. Working at Hub City Ford has been a joy I love what I do and enjoy the atmosphere. The guy that has the title of being my boss is more of a friend than a boss, I can go to him with anything as I can with others here. It's been so good that I retired and came back, and that's my story. Much Love.

Originally from Fort Walton Beach, FL, I started my sales career in the auto industry a little over 30 years ago. From positions held as Finance Manager, Sales Manager, BDC and Internet Manager, these roles have given me many years of experience and have made lots of friends and loyal customers for life. After time, my career path brought me to the wonderful state of Louisiana and I came to Hub City Ford in 2021 as a Sales Consultant after working at other auto dealerships.  The experience I had walking into the dealership for the first time is exactly why I wanted to be a part of the team here. The friendly and positive environment is one of a kind, and I am proud to be able to share that to our customers throughout not only their buying process, but their entire ownership experience. I married my husband Albert in 2014. We have seven grandchildren and hope to add to that number soon. We also have one fur baby "Little Girl" who runs our house and keeps us on our toes. I am a big football fan and, in the fall, we set out with our camper to enjoy the outdoors.

Born and raised in Lafayette, La, I am a proud graduate of Acadiana High School, followed by, on and off stints at ULL, where I studied business and political science. I've done a little bit of everything in my 16 years in the workforce (cutting grass, fast-food industry, bar-tender, office runner, retail), but since September 3rd, 2019, I have been a sales consultant at Hub City Ford. All of my previous work experience has always involved face-to-face interaction with customers which has prepared me to do what I do and love today - smile and sell cars. I chose this line of work to follow in my late father's footsteps. He was a car man in the 80's and 90's and eventually worked his way up to General Manager at what is now a defunct dealership here in Lafayette. My earliest memories in life comprise of a shiny dealership showroom floor, model cars, and perfectly dry-cleaned outfits that my dad would don on a day-to-day basis. He was a master people-person and salesman who, with those skills, made himself a success story. My entire life, I have wanted to be just like him, and through this job believe it or not, I feel closer to him than ever. Hub City Ford has, in so many ways, changed my life; I found not only something I love to do, but also the woman that I am currently engaged to. In all aspects, this place is my life, and I cannot express enough how important it is for me to be a part of a team and business that truly treats and cares for me like family; it is invaluable. Just a little lagniappe: I usually spend my free time with family and friends, I love football and baseball, and am a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan (also GEAUX ASTROS), I believe there is nothing better in the world than throwing a ball around, I love the electric guitar and have an eclectic catalog of music that I shuffle through at max volume every day, I am quite the movie critic, and I know more sports trivia than anyone you've ever met...seriously.

My name is Jack Broussard and I have been a member of the Hub City Ford Family since 1977. I was seeking a repair in the brand-new truck facility on N.E. Evangeline Thruway when I was offered a job as a truck salesman in the new store I gladly accepted. I started as a salesman and attended all the Ford schools offered to me and worked my way up to Heavy Truck Manager in charge of the medium and heavy trucks. After Ford sold the franchise to Sterling, I began my career as Fleet Manager selling Ford light and medium trucks. I attended Lafayette High School and USL for Marketing and the education worked out great as I am a people person and enjoy helping customers with their vehicle needs. I presently live in Carencro, La. and have 2 grown girls Natalie Journet and Allison Comeaux and 3 grandchildren. I like to say I was into trucks before trucks were cool! Come by Hub City Ford and meet the rest of the Hub City Ford Family; we are proud to serve you. Â

I started my career in finance at Ford Motor Credit after graduating in accounting from college. After spending 22 years in auto finance between Ford Credit and other banks, I decided to change my career to the dealership world. In working with dealerships for over 22 years in the auto finance section, I knew there was only 1 dealership that I wanted to go to work for. Hub City Ford has been around for over 80 years and I learned over my 22 years in auto finance that you are "family" at Hub City! I have been a sales consultant for 3 years now at Hub City Ford. The greatest enjoyment of working as a Sales Consultant is building relationships with people in the community when they come to purchase a vehicle. I have been married to my wife, Nicole, for over 25 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, Mallory and Olivia (21 & 18). If you can't catch me at the dealership selling vehicles, you will find me on the golf course. It is my favorite hobby, and my biggest stress reliever! Come see us at Hub City Ford for your next purchase and really experience what we mean, when we say you are family at Hub City!

I am originally from Carencro and graduated from Carencro in 1991 and I attended a few semesters at USL. I currently reside in the Scott/Duson area. I am currently a Sales Consultant but when I came to Hub City Ford I was employed as a technician for a year and a half, then I moved up to service advisor for another three and a half years. I came into sales in July of 2017 and have been honored to be a part of this family since the day I was hired in 2012. I am grateful to be employed by such wonderful families, the Citrons and the Fortiers. My father was employed here as well in the late 80's- early 90's. He held the same position then as a sales consultant. I currently have his old office! There is a reason why some employees have been her for 40-60+ years: They treat everyone like family! I have been married to Stephanie Touchet for nearly 25 years. We have one son, Peyton, who has been serving our country for nearly 7 years. My hobbies include fishing, woodwork and involving myself in ACTS retreats. - Scotty T.

I have been working at Hub City Ford since July 1st, 2017. I am a Lafayette, LA native and went to college at U.S.L. (yes, I am showing my age!) I am currently engaged (eternally). My only children have fur and their names are Charlie and Lynyrd who are my main source of fun when I am not Tournament Bass Fishing.

Here is a little something about me; I have had a career in sales for 6 years now, going on 1 year in the auto industry. I recently had my first baby boy Luca Jack with my girlfriend Devyn. Hub City Ford has always been my family's go to ever since I can remember. Hub City Ford isn't just a dealership it's a family-oriented dealership. My first day in Gary (sales manager) stated employees don't leave here, they retire here. And that's why we have people here that've been here for 30+ years. The auto industry has evolved and with that we have grown in tremendous ways, but the way we take care of our customers will remain the same. Come be a part of the Hub City Ford Family.

I've been with Hub City Ford since the summer of 2023 and it feels like home! I am from Lafayette LA and was born, raised and still live minutes away from Hub City on the Northside of town. After high school, I graduated from UL LAFAYETTE with a business marketing degree. I have been in sales for over 20 years and nothing is better than as satisfied customer! Thats the Hub City way! Hub City Ford has been open for over 80 years, and a lot of our employees have worked here for decades. I believe that speaks volumes and that's a big reason why I decided to join the Hub City Family. I have been married to my wife Alyson for over 12 years and we have an amazing daughter Frances who is in 3rd grade at Mrytle Elementary French immersion program. We all enjoy the music, art and festivals Lafayette has to offer. Lafayette has amazing people and that's why Lafayette is an amazing place to live. Outside of work, I am a musician and songwriter in a band called Northside Eric & the Southside playboys.

Born to loving parents Samuel & Betty on December 31st 1973 in Arnaudville. Which is where I have lived my entire life and remain currently. I married in 1994 to Glenn J Olivier and together we have two children, son Jade Jospeh Olivier and daughter Bailee Nicole Olivier. I began working at Hub City Ford on February 1st 2018 as a service writer. After some time in service, I was offered a position in sales. The transition took place on my 3rd anniversary which was February 1st 2021. I am currently still in sales. Hub City Ford has blessed me with opportunities that I never imagined possible and I can honestly say that it is the only place I desire to be employed by. Some of our hobbies include visiting with family, friends, and neighbors preparing great food for all to enjoy.

I have always been a car guy and purchased my very first mustang from Hub City Ford in 2019 and a few years later I started my career in Sales at Hub City Ford in 2023. I am originally from Church Point, LA and now live in the Lafayette area. I graduated in 2015 from LSU with a degree in Business. When not at the dealership I enjoy spending time with my family, me and my girlfriend Ramiah have two boys KJ and Rylan. Other hobbies include sports, traveling, and racecars. Come on in and join the Hub City Ford family.
Pre-Owned Sales Team

For over a decade, I've been a fixture at Hub City Ford, helping folks in Lafayette and beyond find their perfect Ford vehicle. It's not just about selling cars, it's about building relationships and understanding the needs of my community. That same dedication spills over into my personal life, where I'm an avid outdoorsman, always up for a hunt, a fishing trip, or a frog stomp (don't worry, they're gently relocated!). When I'm not knee-deep in nature, you can find me tending to my garden, letting my green thumb work its magic. And of course, no story about me is complete without mentioning my two amazing daughters. They're the apples of my eye, the sunshine in my days, and the reason I put my heart into everything I do.So, whether you're looking for a reliable F-150, a family-friendly Explorer, or just some friendly chat about the best fishing spots, come on down to Hub City Ford and say hello! I'm always happy to help, offer a tip, or share a story about the latest catch that didn't get away.
