The Fusion Energi has a 118 hp electric motor to supplement its 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine. This gives it a maximum power output of 195 hp. The 7.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack takes a charge from the wall as well as during regenerative braking. When fully charged, the Fusion Energi sedan can go an EPA-estimated 21 miles on electric power alone.
