What's New About The 2021 Ford Super Duty
The Ford Super Duty has always been the truck of go-getters, hard-hitters, and load-haulers who need that extra capacity and that extra power to get their kind of job done. If you're one of those people, we've got some good news: The new 2021 Ford Super Duty has improved where it needed improvement, and where it didn't, it stayed the same. Here at Hub City Ford, your local Ford dealership in Lafayette, we get about as excited for new Ford releases as anyone else on the planet, so we've put together a list of everything you need to know about the new 2021 Ford Super Duty for our pleasure, and hopefully for yours too.
Exterior
As we said before, the Ford 2021 Super Duty didn't need to reinvent the wheel, because it was already a damn good truck, but there are some subtle changes to take note of. The Ford Super Duty is still available in all six trims, which are still highly customizable, and the body is still lightweight and durable aluminum. Additionally, Ford decided to get rid of some of the less popular paint jobs (honestly, who even knows what color "Magnetic" is) and opted for some new colors that you can choose from:
- Antimatter Blue Metallic
- Carbonized Gray Metallic
- Lithium Gray Metallic
Interiors
With the 2020 model sporting the supercharged Ford 6.2L Boss V8, there wasn't much improvement needed on the goods under the hood. But in terms of interior design, a couple of tweaks make the new 2021 Ford Super Duty more efficient and more ergonomic. First off, Ford opted to remove that center armrest storage for XL trucks, which in previous models ended up being more cumbersome than it was useful. What's more is that the All-Weather floors option now guarantees rubber floor mats, as opposed to the previous carpet all-weather option. All in all, the tweaks are small, but they make subtle improvements to this Ford super-truck.
